A wedding, a tragedy, and a farewell
The episode titled “When Love Ends” promises to be one of the most intense of the season. Forced to leave Matera for his safety, his departure leaves Imma in a storm of conflicting emotions. Meanwhile, Pietro (Massimiliano Gallo) finds solace in his friendship with Vasco Parisi (Tommaso Ragno), while all of Matera gathers to celebrate D’Antonio’s (Elvira Zingone) wedding. However, the joyous occasion takes a dark turn when Aurelio Sansevero, known as the Red Baron (Adolfo Margiotta), is murdered, casting a cloud of mystery over the event.
A double betrayal for Imma
Beyond the investigation, Imma faces a personal crisis like never before. Pietro asks her to start the divorce proceedings, marking the end of a seemingly solid marriage. To make matters worse, her daughter Valentina (Alice Azzariti) accidentally discovers her secret affair with Calogiuri, forcing Imma to confront the fallout of her choices. Between professional duties and family turmoil, the Matera prosecutor must navigate the storm while the city awaits the resolution of the Red Baron’s murder.
