The story of Kings of Convenience
Hailing from the fjords of Bergen, the Kings of Convenience are an indie pop duo formed by Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe. Their collaboration began during high school and solidified in 1999 with the release of their self-titled debut album, initially launched in the United States. Their global breakthrough came in 2001 with Quiet is the New Loud, an album that defined a generation of indie acoustic music.
In 2015, to celebrate the anniversary of this iconic record, the duo embarked on an international tour, including four unforgettable performances in Italy. Now, almost a decade later, the Kings of Convenience return with a single exclusive show in the country.
