The Bomb Disposal Unit classified the material as lethal, with explosive power capable of compromising the building’s stability.

Avoided damage and thwarted illegal profits

The seized fireworks, which lacked proper labeling for explosive content, could have caused significant harm if sold on the black market. The merchandise was estimated to generate illicit profits of around €50,000.

The arrested young man was transferred to Naples-Poggioreale prison. He faces serious charges, including the manufacture, possession, and sale of explosive materials, crimes punishable by severe penalties.

Conclusion

Operations like this highlight the crucial role of law enforcement in combatting illegal trafficking and ensuring public safety.
