With her familiar face and Tuscan roots, Ofelia was chosen as a symbol of accessibility and community connection for patients and citizens.
This innovation is powered by QuestIT, a Siena-based tech company specializing in artificial intelligence solutions. More than just a face, Ofelia is a virtual assistant available 24/7, offering practical information such as department locations, test procedures, and other useful details.
A made-in-Italy project serving the community
The creation of Ofelia is a milestone not only for the Tuscan healthcare system but also for the Italian tech industry. According to Ernesto Di Iorio, CEO of QuestIT, “Ofelia is a state-of-the-art virtual assistant capable of accurately responding to user requests, enhancing accessibility to hospital services.”
