From May 19 to 23, Monopoli becomes Europe’s saxophone capital in honor of Luciano Berio’s centenary
A European celebration of the sax and Berio
Monopoli Sax Fest 2025 turns the Apulian city into a cultural crossroads, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Luciano Berio. Promoted by the Nino Rota Conservatory, supported by the Italian Ministry of University and Erasmus+, the event will feature a rich international lineup.
Six countries, one stage
Thanks to the work of Erasmus coordinator Domenico Tagliente, students and teachers from all over Europe will gather in Monopoli. Over 200 participants are expected, including 20 foreign students who will perform alongside local talents.
