The Kennedy bocce club from Piazzolla di Nola brought glory to Campania at the Italian Absolute Unified Championships held in San Giovanni in Persiceto (BO) on November 30 and December 1. The event, organized by the Italian Bocce Federation, featured two Campanian pairs competing for the national title in the Raffa specialty.

An all-Campanian final

Following an extraordinary performance, the pairs Carmine La Marca and Luigi Coppola and Michele La Marca and Giuseppe Pappacena reached the final. Michele La Marca (born in 1989) and Giuseppe Pappacena (born in 1992) emerged as Italian champions with a hard-fought 10-6 victory over their teammates. Despite the defeat, Carmine La Marca and Luigi Coppola’s second place remains a remarkable achievement for the Campanian club.
