The picturesque town of Bertinoro (Forlì-Cesena) hosted the 2nd SIMM GenerAzioni in Sanità meeting, organized by the Italian Society of Leadership and Management in Medicine (SIMM) in collaboration with the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SitI). Themed “Leading Change in PHC: Territory of Change-Makers,” the event gathered experts and young professionals to discuss challenges and opportunities in public health and primary care.
Healthcare at the heart of transformation
In today’s ever-changing landscape marked by demographic, technological, and epidemiological shifts, healthcare professionals face critical decisions. “Change in public health requires an integrated, multidisciplinary approach where every professional’s expertise contributes to addressing global and local health challenges.”
Nurturing young leaders and fostering innovation
The event offered young doctors and healthcare professionals a unique platform to learn from seasoned leaders in healthcare management and public health. Roberta Siliquini, SitI president, highlighted how prevention and innovation are crucial for ensuring equity, sustainability, and quality in future healthcare services. Renowned national and international leaders enriched the discussions, presenting tangible examples of effective public health management.
