Statement from the military operations command

According to the newly formed rebel coalition, the ‘Military Operations Command,’ rebel forces have begun advancing into the city. In an official statement, they confirmed taking control of the Syrian government’s military scientific research center on the outskirts of Aleppo after intense clashes with regime forces and Iranian militias.

The targeted areas: Al-Hamdaniya and New Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the clashes are centered around the outskirts of Al-Hamdaniya and New Aleppo neighborhoods. Rebel factions, including Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (Hts), have reportedly made initial gains in penetrating these areas.
