A show for all ages at Teatro Moriconi
On Sunday, November 24, the Teatro Moriconi in Jesi will host two performances of the play “Grogh, the story of a beaver” at 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. This event is part of the 41st Children’s Theatre Season and the Jesi Educa program, which this year celebrates the centenary of Alberto Manzi, author of the book and creator of the iconic educational TV show “It’s never too late”.
A tale of nature, struggle, and courage
The play, performed by Fabio Galanti and produced by the company La Baracca – Testoni Ragazzi, tells the story of Grogh, a legendary hero among the forest’s “little people.” The audience will learn about the habits, social structures, and daily struggles of beavers, highlighting their battle against the ultimate predator: humankind.
A message of freedom and solidarity
Grogh’s story is a tribute to values such as freedom, altruism, sacrifice, and courage, offering a meaningful reflection on the importance of protecting nature and its creatures. This production provides an educational and entertaining experience for audiences of all ages.
The 41st Children’s Theatre Season
Organized by Teatro Giovani Teatro Pirata, the season spans 16 towns across the Marche region and is supported by institutions such as the Ministry of Culture, the Marche Region, and local organizations. These events are an opportunity to promote theatrical culture and foster community engagement through high-quality artistic performances.
