A fusion of mythology, dance, and irony

Graces draws inspiration from Greek mythology and Canova’s masterpiece depicting the Three Graces, daughters of Zeus and symbols of splendor, joy, and prosperity. In this contemporary reinterpretation, dancers Francesco Saverio Cavaliere, Matteo Marchesi, and Andrea Rampazzo embody a choreography that transcends the boundaries of masculine and feminine, exploring movement and time.

Joining them on stage is Silvia Gribaudi herself, a visionary artist who challenges traditional virtuosity in dance, transforming imperfections into artistic expression with her signature blend of humor, theater, and performing arts.

An immersive and experimental journey

Winner of CollaborAction#4 2018/2019 and selected for NID Platform 2019, the show is the result of an extensive artistic journey guided by director Matteo Maffesanti. His vision incorporated community workshops, allowing people to explore movement and the relationship between body and space.

The 50-minute performance will be staged on:

  • Friday, January 10 at 8:45 PM
  • Saturday, January 11 at 7:00 PM
  • Sunday, January 12 at 6:00 PM

Additionally, on Saturday, January 11 at 5:00 PM, audiences can join “Salotto a Teatro”, a special talk with Silvia Gribaudi and the dancers, hosted by journalist Maria Beatrice Crisci.

A unique journey blending art, dance, and identity. Share your thoughts in the comments below!
