Netanyahu: “We will go in with full force”
Speaking to wounded soldiers, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the army is ready to enter Gaza with full force. The dual objective is crystal clear: eliminate Hamas and rescue all hostages.
“These two things must be done together,” said Netanyahu, underlining that there will be no backing down.
A controversial move: 50% of Gazans to be relocated abroad
In a parallel political maneuver, Netanyahu announced that Israel is in talks with third countries to accept over half of Gaza’s population. “More than 50% will leave, if given the opportunity,” he claimed.
The statement sparked international backlash, with many critics accusing Israel of planning a mass forced displacement or even ethnic cleansing under the guise of humanitarian relocation.
Edan Alexander to meet Trump in Doha
Meanwhile, the recently released Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander is expected to travel to Doha to meet former U.S. President Donald Trump, reportedly involved in the behind-the-scenes negotiations.
A volatile mix of war, diplomacy, and refugee crisis
With military escalation looming, forced migrations, and Trump’s return to the scene, the Gaza crisis is morphing into a complex geopolitical showdown that may soon explode on multiple fronts.
