Successful Drug Operation in Massafra
An elaborate operation conducted by the Italian State Police led to the seizure of over five kilograms of narcotics and the arrest of a 32-year-old man with a criminal record.
A Drug Trafficking Ring Dismantled
The Falcons of the Taranto Mobile Squad focused their investigations on the man, suspected of having resumed drug trafficking activities in the municipality of Massafra. After weeks of surveillance and stakeouts, the police gathered irrefutable evidence of his dangerous activity.
The Raid and Seizure
During a lightning-fast operation, the officers stopped the 32-year-old as he tried to hide the drugs in a basement. Inside the hiding place, numerous blocks of hashish and marijuana were found, as well as pre-packaged doses ready for sale. A subsequent search of his home uncovered a small amount of cocaine.
The Arrest
The man was arrested and taken to the Taranto Prison. Investigations continue unabated to trace his suppliers and the drug distribution channels.
