
CSI Lecce’s Rhythmic Gymnastics season kicks off
The CSI Lecce Provincial Championship has officially launched the 2024/2025 rhythmic gymnastics season. The PalaPantani in Campi Salentina hosted an exciting event featuring over 150 athletes from various affiliated clubs, including Asd Delfino, Asd New Age, Asd Dreams Academy, and Asd Sport Mania.
Impeccable organization and strong institutional support
The event was meticulously organized by the CSI Lecce Provincial Commission, led by Serena Caracuta, with strong backing from the entire committee staff. The opening ceremony welcomed Marco Calogiuri, National Vice President of CSI, and Sabina Tondo, Provincial President.
Local institutions also showed great support, with the presence of Andrea Grasso, Public Works Councillor, and Giuseppe Meo, Municipal Councillor for Sports, who expressed their appreciation for Campi Salentina‘s key role in the CSI Lecce APS sports initiative.
A sporting journey fueled by passion and competition
According to President Sabina Tondo, rhythmic gymnastics is a crucial part of the Centro Sportivo Italiano di Lecce. The journey that began in Campi Salentina will continue with the regional final in Corigliano d’Otranto, culminating in the national phase in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Ud).
CSI Lecce aims not only to promote competition but also to foster a celebratory atmosphere, engaging families and supporters in a unique and unforgettable experience.
Upcoming events not to be missed
After the success of this first stage, anticipation is high for the upcoming competitions. The next events include:
- Second stage of the Provincial Championship in Campi Salentina;
- Regional final in Corigliano d’Otranto;
- National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, scheduled from May 11 to 18 in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Ud).
With such an exciting calendar ahead, the CSI Lecce rhythmic gymnastics season promises to be unforgettable.
