Graces: when dance meets sculpture to challenge stereotypes
A fusion of mythology, dance, and irony
Graces draws inspiration from Greek mythology and Canova’s masterpiece depicting the Three Graces, daughters of Zeus and symbols of splendor, joy, and prosperity. In this contemporary reinterpretation, dancers Francesco Saverio Cavaliere, Matteo Marchesi, and Andrea Rampazzo embody a choreography that transcends the boundaries of masculine and feminine, exploring movement and time.
Joining them on stage is Silvia Gribaudi herself, a visionary artist who challenges traditional virtuosity in dance, transforming imperfections into artistic expression with her signature blend of humor, theater, and performing arts.
An immersive and experimental journey
Winner of CollaborAction#4 2018/2019 and selected for NID Platform 2019, the show is the result of an extensive artistic journey guided by director Matteo Maffesanti. His vision incorporated community workshops, allowing people to explore movement and the relationship between body and space.
The 50-minute performance will be staged on:
- Friday, January 10 at 8:45 PM
- Saturday, January 11 at 7:00 PM
- Sunday, January 12 at 6:00 PM
Additionally, on Saturday, January 11 at 5:00 PM, audiences can join “Salotto a Teatro”, a special talk with Silvia Gribaudi and the dancers, hosted by journalist Maria Beatrice Crisci.

A day like any other: exploring the paradox of routine on stage
Between comedy and reflection, a mirror of society
A Day Like Any Other, written and directed by Giacomo Ciarrapico, will premiere at the Teatro Nuovo in Naples from December 5 to 8, 2024. Presented by Viola Produzioni, this play masterfully balances light humor with deep reflection, portraying a microcosm that resonates with contemporary society.
An ordinary story turned extraordinary
The play follows Ranuccio and Marco, two characters stationed in a remote electoral polling station on the outskirts of Rome, section 4607. As they await voters who never come, their story transforms into a critique of the current state of democracy in Italy, where only 4% of eligible voters exercise their right to vote.
The stage becomes a metaphor for social indifference, blending absurd situations and witty dialogue to highlight the growing disconnect between citizens and political leaders.
A silent cry for civility
According to Ciarrapico, a polling station is a symbolic place of democracy. However, over the years, the act of voting has lost its significance, reflecting a collective apathy towards the future. A Day Like Any Other speaks in a quiet yet profoundly impactful voice, urging reflection on civic responsibility.

I Ritardatari: theater as a mirror of dreams and limits
Theater as a space for inclusive expression
I ritardatari (The Latecomers),the new performance result of the Arti Libere workshop at Campo Teatrale, will be staged from November 28 to 30 in Milan. This integrated theater project involves young people aged 10 to 16, with and without disabilities, in a path that combines art and inclusion. Guided by director Francesca Merli, actress Laura Serena, and a highly skilled creative team, participants explore their emotions and dreams, bringing them to life on stage as part of a collective reflection.
A journey through dreams, fears, and hopes
The play represents the emotional baggage of each young actor: desires, aspirations, and fears come to life in a variety of characters reflecting personal and future projections. From science to art, sports to management, each story is an invitation to discovery and wonder. Being “late” is not just a label or diagnosis but a symbol of social exclusion and the struggle to keep up with imposed standards.
Accessibility and inclusion at the core
Thanks to the support of Municipio 3 and collaboration with the Fedora Cultural Association, the play is made accessible through AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), introductions with LIS (Italian Sign Language) interpreters, and subtitles for deaf audiences. A tangible commitment to breaking down barriers and opening theater to everyone.
Reflecting on the power of creative thinking
The performance invites the audience to reflect on the value of creative thinking as a tool to overcome limits and fears. There are no certainties about the fate of the latecomers, but there is a possibility: changing how we view the world by opening up instead of closing off.

Svelarsi: a unique experience for feminine bodies
A journey through feminism, self-awareness, and empowerment
On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the Teatro Nuovo di Napoli will host Svelarsi, a groundbreaking performance directed by Silvia Gallerano. Featuring an all-female cast – Giulia Aleandri, Elvira Berarducci, Smeralda Capizzi, Benedetta Cassio, Livia De Luca, Chantal Gori, Giulia Pietrozzini, and Gallerano herself – the event starts at 9:00 PM and is open exclusively to women (cis, trans, and non-binary).
More than theater: a space for reflection and connection
Svelarsi is not just a play; it is an experiment in research, delving into the stories and meanings carried by female bodies. The temporary exclusion of the male gaze, with its judgmental and oppressive overtones, creates an environment where participants can explore the resonance between their own bodies and those on stage.
The power of the body and laughter
The experience swings between moments of constraint and compression and bursts of strength and laughter. Starting from painful stories – invisibility, humiliation, oppression – the performance leads to a liberating journey of shared awareness and resilience. Each actress contributes with her physicality and stories in a process of embodied writing that transcends words.
A question, not a solution
As the director explains, “These two hours don’t provide definitive answers but leave the audience with questions and reflections. Svelarsi offers an opportunity to become more aware and perhaps a little freer.”
