Nada returns to the music scene with “A day to give”, the single that heralds the release of her new album of original songs, set for spring. The track, distributed by Audioglobe under the Santeria label, was written and composed by Nada herself.

A deep message on the human condition

Nada describes the song as a reflection on our constant search for meaning: “we fill the void of life with things upon things, but the void remains empty. Instead, there is the art of seeing, the art of feeling.” This concept is echoed in the depth of her lyrics and the evocative melody.

The collaboration with John Parish

The track’s production was once again entrusted to John Parish, renowned for his work with artists like PJ Harvey, Eels, Giant Sand, and Tracy Chapman. Parish had already collaborated with Nada on previous albums, including “Tutto l’amore che mi manca” (2004), recently reissued on vinyl for its twentieth anniversary, “È un momento difficile tesoro” (2019), and “La paura va via da sé se i pensieri brillano” (2022).

“A day to give” was recorded at the J&J Studio in Bristol, a city that has played a significant role in Nada’s discography.

The official video

The single will be accompanied by an official video, directed by Davide Barbafiera and curated by Nada herself. The release is scheduled for January 14, allowing fans to fully experience the artist’s vision.

High expectations for the upcoming album

With this new project, Nada once again proves her talent and ability to explore profound themes through music. “A day to give” is just the beginning of a musical journey that will culminate in the album’s release this spring.
